Olivier Loubet (By Begoña Michelena)

Born and Bred in the France he tooks his first picture when he was thirty years old. His interest in photography really took off during a trip to Kenya where he got a lot of enjoyment from taking pictures. To keep on entertaining himself he quickly picked up a reflex camera, some good lenses and began exploring his creative side


With internet, professional photographer books and forums, he has the opportunity to really learn and think about composition and development. On the technical side he is always learning photography after photography and he is constantly trying to stretch himself and integrate new horizons to his passion. Sometimes he gets lazy and has periods of hardly no activity, but the craving for photography always comes back.

His next project is to fill in the gap within his technical skills, he wants to quickly close some of them up by starting a Photography course. However, the best advice that he has read and which became a principle for him is to remember that “Photography is an art, not a science".

In addition to this he is extremely fortunate to have some friends whose advice and kind words of encouragement have helped him enormously, especially his wife. He takes this opportunity to thank her, she encourages, respects and helps me everyday. As you can imagine it is not easy for her to see him spending hours in front of this computer or on the field, but she and he has found some patience that was hidden deep inside ourselves. Their guidance has given him the confidence to go out and try new styles and subjects. He now finds himself looking at the world through a virtual view finder and looking to every photographic opportunity that comes his way.

To summarise, he is a photography passionate amateur and autodidact, who tries to share his photos. These are his vision of the world that surrounds him. In order for him to share his passion with you, he will try and bring new photos to the site as often as they get into his camera. The objective being to present to you an image as representative and as living as possible of his work. As an outdoor adventure enthusiast he learned to fall in love with the world, appreciate the simple things in life and meet, converse & interact with people. All the images on his site could be purchased on line in the future, by using the integrated payment system shown against each image.

His present motivation is basically to share photographical experiences so far as well as to continue meeting with other photographers. His future motivations are to continue to exploring creative paths, and are willing to publish his work at the same time.
